Relax the Feet - Richmond

OMG, I love it here. It's so relaxing and quiet with dimmed lights and silent service. I'm not sure if this is typical for reflexology, as this was my first ever experience, but it started with a head, neck, and shoulder massage, then arms and hands, then calves and feet. This was the most relaxing experience ever and certainly better than any traditional massage I've ever gotten. I will definitely be returning. I was able to truly turn my brain off and take a break from my busy life for an hour! The facility is extremely clean, and the soaking bath for your feet is plastic-lined to ensure client safety and hygiene! 10/10.

Don’t waste your money or time. They are NOT trained. I did 90 min special and 4 days later I am still in pain and I have black and blues marks. I should have read the other reviews but I am writing about my experience in hopes to keep you from making the mistake I made and to save you from spending your hard earned money. My daughter’s also had a 90 min special and her person was watching utube on how the massage as he massaged her. A painful expensive experience I hope you avoid.

I would love to be able to give 5 star as the first two massages were relaxing and enjoyable. This third time, however, not so much. I had the same guy my wife had last time we were there and she had the same experience. Big guy. Who seemed to be trying out for a world record in the most pressure applied by a single digit to a human foot. I like to think I have a pretty high threshold for pain, but this was excruciating. My male ego and pride got the better of me so I didn’t say a thing but my wife had to tell him twice to be more gentle during her previous visit. It was peculiar. Literally pressing his finger tip or knuckle as hard as he could into a single area a few times. The dragging of knuckles impressively firmly down my soles….ouch. I kept a straight face under the towel but my soul almost left my body and I was dreading him doing the same to my other foot. This was also after the head and neck massage where he seemed to be massaging my neck artery by pushing his unoiled thumb, really hard, along the length of it. Uncomfortable and unpleasant. Rather strangely, at one point he even put his thumb or fingers in my ear hole… if you go to Relax The Feet, for the love of god do NOT have this guy operate on you. They should save him for anyone they want to interrogate, but for a relaxing massage maybe keep him locked up out back.

Just left today just out of research and curiosity. The pictures are great to look at. 👌 when I showed up with my lady the place and the people were fantastic! I will be going again and I almost forgot the pictures are pot on, real to life as they say. Thanks for the experience and steller foot massage. Great experience with the 60 minute foot reflexology massage! I used to go the previous place before it closed; this is almost identical with the only difference being that it is an open room now. I thought the prices were good and the experience itself was relaxing, with just the right amount of pressure. I went with medium, which was definitely the right call for me. The only thing negative was that there was this near constant metallic grinding noise coming from the air duct which detracted from the otherwise quite soothing atmosphere. I wouldn’t take a star off for it, but a call for an HVAC repair may be in order.
