The shop was fine. Shawntae seemed nice as well. Tbh I didn’t care for my eyebrows. I initially got the henna brow service to see if I liked them before I committed to permanent brows. Once I got home and really look at my brows, I didn’t like them. One brow looked higher than the other and I didn’t like how they were spaced. No problem though as the brows were not permanent, as a matter of fact they didn’t even last a week, and I had already booked with someone else and had no intention on returning. But then to my surprise 5 months after the first and only appointment I had with her, I see a video of my service pop up on her IG and Facebook. I was not asked and gave no permission to use my image on her social media. I was told the video she was taking was for her and myself to show my progress when I came for additional appointments. I messaged Shawntae several times on both platforms and asked to have my image removed to which she did not respond. I understand that using customers images is a way that businesses promote themselves but the customer should at least be asked first. And if a paying customer doesn’t want their image used that should be respected! I would never use shawntaes services again and don’t suggest you do either unless you want your eyebrows weirdly spaced and your privacy violated. **Edited** I saw the business owners reply and unfortunately I wasn’t surprised by their comments. After ignoring all my requests via private messages and a reply on the actual posting, I knew better than to expect professionalism. The comments regarding my eyebrows were cute but I was able to get them done a month later without an issue and I’ve actually never had any issues regarding the spacing of my brows outside of the time when I went to this establishment. Furthermore, the main point of my post was my images were being used on her social media sites without my knowledge or consent and remained up even after multiple messages were sent to have her remove them. I sent those messages prior to my initial review. Conveniently, the business owner in their reply skipped all over that very important fact and chose instead to critique my facial structure which is laughable and not even the point. It’s really sad that when trying to support a small business, I have had to endure such nonsense. It sucks to pay for an unsatisfactory outcome but we all know when trying someone new that can happen, but then to also have your privacy violated without your consent is just too much. Geesh, at least ask permission!! Women go to beauty treatments to relax and pamper ourselves. This experience has been the exact opposite. And to those reading this review beware of how I’m being treated simply for asking for my images to be removed. Hope your experience is better than mines and that you have perfectly spaced brows before going lol..

My eyebrows are beautiful and Shanwtae is very professional! The shop has a wonderful ambiance. I slept through my procedure because of her gentleness and the aura from the shop. I instantly felt relaxed when I sat down. I highly recommend her for any of her services that she offers. I look forward to returning for future services.

I would highly recommend this business and Shawntae. She made me feel comfortable and took time to answer all my questions about the service. Most importantly, my brows look beautiful. It’s been almost 2 weeks and even during the healing process I feel confident enough to go out without putting makeup on. Do yourself a favor and give her a call.

Ombre Brows-Cannot say enough great things about my experience. Shawntae is knowledgeable, skillful, very talented, this is her super power. Service was wonderful from start to finish. My brows are beautiful and the process was seamless. I had no reservations. The space is clean, and pretty. The atmosphere is warm, comfortable and peaceful.

Excellent service! I love every bit! I last had a hair relaxer in 2007 and a permanent color on June 26, 2023. My hair was less than 3 inches short. I did book to get a permanent color and pixie band style with Henna Brow tint/shape up Shawntae advised that I couldn't do both permanent color and relaxer today, because my hair may get damaged if I put a relaxer on a permanent color. She said if you want this service your hair will be shorter -in that I will have to cut the color part off. I told her to go ahead because I have made up my mind to have something different. And I tell you for sure, when she got done my hair is super pretty. Omg, my henna brows look so natural. Not just doing the hair, her positive vibe for me❤️ Very friendly and serviceable! This is my newfound hair salon. Thanks so much, Shawntae! Keep up the good work
