I had to have Basal Cell removed from my face. From beginning too end I had a great experience. The entire staff were very kind, helpful, and professional. Everything that was done was throughly explained. Dr. Wallace is a really good surgeon and makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. If I should ever need this kind of surgery again, I would not hesitate to return to Mohs Center Of Richmond Dermatology. My experience was very positive. A big thank you to Dr. Wallace and staff for taking such good care of me and explaining everything so throughly.

My experience here was top notch! The entire staff was great at walking me through the process while keeping me informed and calm. They go above and beyond- how… well, you get to choose what music you can listen to during the surgery. Winning! There is a nice waiting lounge (separate from the normal waiting room) with snacks, water, coffee and tea. You can truly relax watching tv or work at a desk area while you wait for your test results. They are precise and kind and truly made this scary situation a breeze! I have told 10 people already about my amazing experience. Shout out to Dr. Wallace, Deana, & Jessica for their amazing bedside manner. They even called me after I left to check in. 10/10 for customer service! Thank you, 🙏 team!!

I would recommend Dr Wallace and his staff to ANYONE needing services. From the time I walked in, to the time I left, I was treated with such kindness and care. His nurse Ansleydy was a delight and very attentive and kind when administering the numbing medication. Dr Wallace informed me of EVERY aspect of the procedure and immediately put me at ease with his bedside manner. He asked if his intern could sit in on my procedure which I agreed. She is off to a great start with him as her mentor. I was provided with aftercare instructions as well as his personal cell number if any complications! What doctor does this??? 🩷 Oh did I mention the best NEW country playlist I listened to? Thank you all for making this procedure not as scary as I thought it would be!!

Dr Wallace and his team are wonderful. Professional, caring, they take the time to answer questions and explain everything about the procedure(s) you are having. They also follow up afterwards with a phone call to check in with how you are feeling/recovering. Really appreciate the human interaction. Highly recommend.

From my first interaction over the telephone, I have been impressed with every aspect of my visit at the MOHS Center.My skin cancer was successfully removed by Dr Wallace on the first pass. I was relieved since I had the skin cancer for a significant period of time. It is interesting that Dr Wallace himself looks at the pathology and slides rather than giving that responsibility to someone else. Pain management during the procedure itself was flawless. The skin closure was somewhat complicated because of the location of the lesion, but it was done in an expert fashion by Dr Wallace. Stephanie was meticulous with the dressing. It looks like a piece of art rather than just a bulky dressing. She designed it so I can wear my glasses which means I am able to drive. I have already received a follow up call from the office from Jessica to see how I am doing. There is also a lounge area that has snacks. This is helpful since there is a waiting time between the procedure and the results to see if more surgery is required. Every task was completed in a timely fashion. The MOHS Center is an example of medical care at its absolute best.
