The first time I came here was when I needed somewhere that could possibly get me a same-day emergency appointment, and they were able to get me in ASAP. I was so impressed with the service there that, once I was able to get dental insurance, I moved to going there for all of my appointments. All of the staff, from the front desk ladies to the hygienists to Dr. Cahn himself, are incredibly kind and friendly, so I always feel comfortable there. They don't upsell extra services, and are conservative when it comes to recommending fillings, only suggesting it when they feel it's necessary. Some places will push fillings immediately for every tiny thing, so I really appreciate that they don't do that here. 10/10 place, highly recommend!

I just came back from overseas after my father passed away last month. After reaching home and still dealing with the pain of losing my dad, I got a message for a bill for a filling that was done about 9 months ago. I am so upset to see this message that I wanted to write this review while I am running 102 degree temperature. I had paid them in full right after my filling procedure was done. I made sure that I didn’t owe them any money anymore and their office manager Tabitha had confirmed that. I had even called them before I went for my cavity filling procedure in September 2024 to make it clear what I would be paying out of pocket after the insurance coverage. I spoke with Tara on the phone in September and she checked my insurance again and told me that after the insurance, all I would have to pay out of pocket is $99.00 and the rest will be covered by my insurance company Anthem. After my cavity was filled Tabitha gave me a bill for $145.00 and when I asked her how did she come up with that number? I noticed that she was trying to charge me for this one time $50.00 deductible again which I had paid already during my previous visit in March 2024. Finally I still ended up paying $105.00 according to her math. Since, it wasn’t that much more from the amount Tara had given me earlier over the phone, I didn’t make any fuss about that. During my last visit in October 2024 Tabitha made it very clear to me that I have paid my bill in full and don’t owe them anything anymore. I am very thorough and well informed. I am super organized and make notes about everything just in case later on any questions arise. I did like Dr. Cahn but unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this practice to anyone to avoid these sorts of unnecessary headaches later on.

My regular dentist was on vacation and the office recommended West End Dental. I called and they said to come in on the same day! The entire staff was pleasant, friendly and efficient. Dr. James Cahn took care of my problem without fuss, muss or issue. I recommend Dr. Cahn and West End Dental..... PS: I hope my regular dentist doesn't see this, but I may make West End Dental my new primary dentist office.....

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Blassic, and I can’t say enough good things about my experience! From the moment I walked into their welcoming office, the staff made me feel right at home. Dr. Blassic is an absolute gem—professional, kind, and incredibly skilled. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answering all my questions with patience and a genuine smile. The care I received was top-notch, whether it was the thorough cleaning or the expert advice on keeping my smile healthy. The office itself is cozy and spotless, which just adds to the whole positive vibe. If you’re looking for a dentist who truly cares and delivers exceptional results, Dr. Blassic is the one to see. Five stars all the way!

I was a first time patient here, and will now be a permanent patient! I have struggled with Dental issues for years, and have been to numerous Dentist's around the Richmond area. Some seem to care more about making money than helping me find the best possible treatment for my situation, and listen to my desires. This Practice was nothing short of amazing from their incredible customer service that started from the first call with Tara at their front desk. My dental Hygienist was wonderful, and friendly as well. Dr. Cahn was professional, and actually wanted to hear how I feel about my smile, and what I was trying to accomplish both now, and in the long term. They were even able to get a repair done for me that day! I am working on a long term treatment plan with them now, and will be with them for the long term to see it through. If you are looking for a new Dentist or a second opinion much like I was, give these folks a call. You will not regret it! Great Job West End Dental Team!
