First I'd like to thank Savannah for being able to upgrade my facial to Signature. This is my first time back since pandemic. She was fantastic in assisting me with my special needs. She made me feel very welcome and not a burden. Her smile and personality is absolutely outstanding!! Everyone there was friendly and ready to assist. Check in and out process flawless. I will be returning as soon as possible. Great job ladies!! Thank you!!🤗💞

It was good to be back at Z Salon and Spa again. I had been away and had not gone there in a long time. I was pleased to have a cordial welcome from Mark Hall who I knew previously at Z Talent in the Highlands. My haircut was extraordinary, like none I have had before. Vanessa stayed focused and serious about her work with no idle chitchat for a full 30 minutes. She listened to what I wanted and welcomed my input. She was completely masterful and I have booked another appointment with her for four weeks from now.

From 1 star to 5 stars: Long post, so bottom line up front, do not get a haircut from Venessa, and if you do end up with a bad experience, Z Salon will absolutely make up for it if you give them the opportunity. First and foremost, I am certain some of the low star reviews are referring to Venessa because our stories overlap, but they didn't want to mention her name. However, women should know this before scheduling with her, especially if you have fine hair. She spoke so softly, I could barely hear her, but that didn't matter much because she didn't make an effort to establish positive rapport with me anyway. She asked me what I wanted in the beginning (cut one inch off, incorporate SOFT layers) and then told me to check it out when she was done. From the start of the wash to the end of the cut, no words were spoken. She needs to work on her personal skills. Next, her wash was so aggressive, my head felt raw afterwards and my hair was knotted. I almost left the chair during the cut because it seemed like she was taking too much off (layers show up quickly on fine, blonde hair, which any stylist should know). Lastly, as she was drying my hair with the round brush, it was not only aggressive overall, but she also kept hitting my ears with the hard bristles. In the end, I had way too much cut off, the layers looked choppy, I paid $56, gave no tip, and didn't say a word because I was almost in tears. Fast forward to the next day when I decided to call and explain what happened. I figured they may be able to help fix this. My God, they responded so well. I was passed off to her trainer, Jacquelyn. She asked me to send a picture, and she saw what I was talking about. We set up a time for me to come in the next day and she did a great job with what she had to work with. Even though there was still too much cut off from the initial cut, she softened the layers and made the overall shape look way better. She was so kind, personable, and thanked ME for giving her the opportunity to correct this. Also, she comped me. Not the best way to find out how awesome Z Salon is, but don't write them off too quickly if you have a negative experience. They can fix it!

Alexis did a fantastic job. She gave the best scalp massage before washing my hair. She listened to what I wanted done with my cut and took the time to style it just as I wanted. She was also very personable and friendly. I will definitely go back to her.
