I visited Char after a five-year hiatus from microblading. My last experience was pre-kids and the industry has changed technique so much since then. I felt like Char took time to understand my past work, my vision for end product, and level of comfort. She wasn’t quick to cover my old application and was honest with me that to achieve best results I may need to have my old tails touched up with laser removal. I appreciated her honesty and mission to keep me from looking like a sloppy art project. Following my healing I will assess with her how it’s looking and go from there. Char also mentioned that in the near future she will be equipped to do these removals herself and I think that will be a huge value-add. I opted for a fluffier look and I cannot express how much I love the technique. I wanted it to look like I never endured 90s plucking and was a step down from Cara Delevingne. Char delivered. She was the best of professional and approachable - relating on a personal level and toggling to nurse mode when we needed to talk about ongoing care. Her pre/post procedures were thorough and her aftercare kit was a good blend of creative and helpful. This process is called micro needling (not microblading) but comparing the two, this was more comfortable overall. Microneedling doesn’t go as deep into the dermis and I didn’t even bleed. Microblading was like actually dragging razor blades across the face and this truly felt more like the sharp side of velcro. I have no tattoos and am pretty textbook with scarring/healing so take that for what it’s worth. My first appointment was about 2.5 hours from start to finish and I felt the studio was safe, clean, and calm. I wouldn’t hesitate to refer others to Char or return for future services.

LOVE my lip blush! The whole experience was wonderful! I felt like Char took such meticulous care to make sure that everything was perfect! The color is exactly what I wanted. She mapped my lip shape and asked my feedback along the way. Everything is so natural, truly my lips just better! I will definitely trust Char with my next procedure!
