Vitalounge Winter Garden

My wife and father-in-law visited this location on Sunday the 28th of December to receive IV fluids. My father-in-law is 81 years old, is on blood thinners, and this information is clearly documented in his chart. My wife also verbally informed the male nurse in charge on that shift before any procedure was started. From the beginning, we noticed that the nurse was extremely shaky, which immediately raised concerns. However, we made the mistake of trusting the professionalism and standards of this business. Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced. The nurse attempted IV access on my father-in-law and punctured completely off the vein, causing significant pain and a sudden gush of blood. Shockingly, he did not have gauze ready to apply pressure before removing the catheter—an especially serious failure given my father’s use of blood thinners. The situation was poorly managed, unsafe, and distressing to witness. Basic IV protocols were clearly not followed. Due to this experience and the lack of confidence in the nurse’s competence, my father-in-law refused to proceed with the fluids, as he no longer felt safe. When it was my wife’s turn, she requested another nurse. Despite this, she was unsuccessfully poked twice, on two different arms, before she finally gave up as well. At that point, it became clear that the issue was not isolated but indicative of a broader lack of clinical skill during that shift. In all honesty, the lack of expertise displayed was shocking and deeply concerning, especially in a setting that provides IV therapy to elderly clients and those with medical risk factors. This experience has completely eliminated mine and my family’s trust in this location, and we will not be returning to this location. This experience was not only disappointing but potentially dangerous, and I hope it is taken seriously. I have looked through the reviews of this location and I am not the only complaint about this very experience. I caution others to be weary when choosing a Vitalounge location.

I’ve had the worst migraine for the last 3 days. I called this morning and they told me to come right in. They helped me right away, were super nice and sweet. Talked me through the process, got me set up with a recliner and blanket. The IV took seconds to get going, it was the best experience!! I’m not 💯 yet but getting there thanks to them!! They rock!! Ryan did my IV so smooth.

I had b12 shots. They are working. I have not napped since starting my treatments. I miss my naps, but I am thankful for renewed energy. I also love the hours and the staff are very pleasant and helpful.

Walked in not really knowing what to expect at all. I the staff was extremely inviting helpful. Best customer service and wellness experience I have had in my life. Not really sure if pricing is on par with market value because this was my first experience. But when you add the service provided with the great personalities & wellness plan. IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY!

I continue to come here only due to Natali. Her technique and how she administered the IV is super. I used others at the Winter Garden location and had several unpleasant experience. I now call before attending or will schedule the IV around her schedule. The location works well for me, but I will drive to another provider just to ensure that I have an experienced and gentle nurse administering the IV. Many other customers will wait for Natali or even depart if she is not the one administering the IV. If you are a member or 1st time, book around Natali schedule so that you can have the right experience.
