Caution ⚠️: My fiancé went to this dentist as it’s a 2 minute walk from our apartment. They seemed thorough and friendly as a whole. However, they claimed she had 3 different cavities and showed imaging of this. But she decided to get a second independent opinion from another dentist. The new dentist took the same imaging but did not find any cavities on imaging or physical exam. If she stayed with Lake Eola dental she would have paid a few hundred dollars for non-existent cavities. Afterwards, we saw multiple stories of this happening with this practice in the reviews. This is very concerning and should be addressed. Please use caution here.

During my vacation had a dental emergency, kaliany and Dr Ho both were absolutely amazing. Highly recommend!

Warning: This dentist told me I had many cavities and needed two crowns, while other dentists had not recommended nearly as many cavities as he did and no crowns at all. Trusting them, I went forward and ended up in severe pain because my tooth was shaved too close to the nerve, which led to an emergency root canal. When I reported the pain, the staff was dismissive and told me to “wait it out” even after I told them I had to go to the ER over the weekend because the pain was so intense. Another dentist confirmed the damage and urgency for a root canal (which I never needed before coming to this office). This caused unnecessary pain, stress, and expense. I strongly urge others to get multiple opinions before agreeing to treatment here, as my experience showed clear overdiagnosis and harm. I would never recommend this office.

I came here yesterday August 26th for a new patient appointment for X-rays and they did a full oral exam. And I was a new patient because I moved from another state. I even saw my dentist who I saw for years in April 29th before I moved he said I had zero cavities. I went here and the doctor told me I had three cavities and one of them was quote “developed” i was shocked because it’s only been about 4 months and I don’t drink sodas. He said that can happen. However i had a cavity last year and it was filled at my other dental office and the dentist told me it takes several months to years to form??? They wanted to bill my insurance company $895 and me $190 that’s insane. I also was told what I did yesterday was free but when I left it was $95 because I got a mouthwash which I was forced to pay because it wasn’t covered. As I was sitting on the chair I even heard one of the leaders to the Dental hygienist be rude to her because she gave me the bag of it and I asked her if I can sit it in the floor because I didn’t want to carry it and she said yes and was nasty to her in front of me and said to always take them to the front. Already a red flag….. but today I got a second opinion he looked at all my X-rays and told me I have ZERO cavities ZERO. Very frustrating I’m calling them today and getting my $95 back if not I’ll get it from my bank. Do yourselves a favor and don’t come here especially if your a new patient they want to do unnecessary procedures. Be careful. I will be reporting these people too

Dr Ho, Heidi, Melissa and the entire team are awesome!! They are very compassionate, professional and kind to me as a patient. I used live within walking distance to Dr Ho’s office. I am now further away, but they are with the drive and I will continue my dental needs with this office. Thank you so much!!
