iGlow Aesthetics

Yesterday I had my first visit at iGlow, and I was so pleasantly surprised! They were having a promotion on Groupon, so I researched about them, saw they had good reviews and decided to go for it. I was very nicely greeted by Dr. Cathy and Dimah. Besides doing the Botox application, Dr. Cathy gave me some great tips about skin care. She was just wonderful! Right or wrong, I always judge an aesthetician and hairdresser by their own skin and hair. Dr. Cathy and Dimah look really good, like women who take good care of their skin, without going overboard and still looking very natural. I am definitely going back! I loved my experience there!

I had a CO2 laser treatment with her and the experience was exceptional. She is highly professional, knowledgeable, and very intentional about selecting the best treatment option for each client. What I appreciated most was how considerate and gentle she was throughout the procedure while still delivering outstanding results. You can truly trust her expertise.

Don’t go here! 40 units of Botox and it’s like I’ve had 0 after 6 weeks. I visited iglow after purchasing a Groupon for 40 units. I’ve gotten Botox for four years and always gotten around 35-45 units for my forehead, 11s and crows feet. While there I noticed the placement didn’t feel normal—there were not as many pokes if you will and they didn’t seem to be where I normally got them. I asked my injector afterward if there were enough units in my forehead. She assured me there were. She said she would put more in my crow’s feet but that’s it. The session was the most painful I’ve ever had. No one was friendly. Getting the appointment itself was challenging. However they seemed busy and it was the end of the day. I let it go. However, I waited six weeks but the Botox never took. I have full movement of my forehead. I reached back out to try and see if the could fix it. They said I could pay for more Botox, finally giving me the Groupon price but I had to buy in bulk. Before committing, I consulted another injector from a different practice. She was shocked when she saw my face. She said it looked like I had no Botox at all with full facial movement. Her opinion was that either the vial was bad or it wasn’t Botox. Keep in mind, I usually go 6 months between appointments and this was six weeks later. Again, I told iglow this, and their response was to have a nice day. Later saying in my chart the injector said I needed 10 more units and it was my fault I didn’t purchase more. Again, the only thing she said I needed more Botox on was my crows feet. 10 units wouldn’t make a difference. I went somewhere else and got 40 more units—that’s how much needed. I would seriously reconsider going here for Botox. These photos are from 6 weeks after my appointment.

Dimah and her team were so helpful, knowledgeable and fun to work with! The team made me feel comfortable, informed, and cared for from start to finish. I was comfortable throughout my Botox appointment, and was able to address all my problem areas with ease. I'll definitely be back!

Dimah and her team were so helpful, knowledgeable and fun to work with! They really know their stuff inside and out and I love how quickly they were able to answer my questions. I didn't feel like they were pushing me towards one treatment vs another and I really feel like I was able to make an informed choice! Their facial deals are AMAZING and the tech is so cool!
